Parent's Picnic

We had a lovely time eating lunch in the pavilion with all our parents! Lemonade chips and cookies were a great treat! 

Parts of a Plant

Students use hand lenses to study the parts of live plants that we picked from our garden.

On a poster recording sheet, students labelled and wrote about the parts of a plant.

The roots collect minerals and water and send them through the stem to the leaves and flower. The leaves use sunlight to produce food for the plant. The flower produces seeds so that the plant may reproduce.
